Mayhem, I can't stress how good it feels to be back up and running and with a 2-0 start. Don't get overexcited, as we have a couple of tough opponents to face over the coming weeks. As long as we keep doing what we're doing, we should hold up pretty well throughout the season. Tied for first place is something to be proud of! We are in the company of a strong squad among the top, and I'd like to keep it that way.
There are some things that we can improve upon. I take responsibility for these, as they include how fast we adjust on defense. As the season progresses, and we learn more about everyone's skill sets and strengths, we should see improvement here.
Again, great game on Sunday! I was happy to beat that team, as playing them is always physical and hard fought. I also want to give a big shout to Joel, who took one for the team on the last drive. If it wasn't for the work that he'd put in yesterday, that final scoring drive wouldn't have even been possible. Also, I'd like to thank Cole for stepping up in Joel's absence, we may have lost, as we all know that the QB position is wicked demanding. And I'd lastly like to thank everyone else for giving everything the whole game. Nobody got discouraged when we fell behind with two minutes left, and everyone maintained positive attitudes and continued fighting on. That's the type of shit that wins football games.
